Feb, 2011 by Jaimie in TabletsThe previously teased Huawei S7 Slim has finally shown itself in public but with a slight name change. The official name that Huawei will bring the new 7-inch tablet to market with is Huawei IDEOS S7 Slim. The new IDEOS S7 Slim will pack a skinned version of Android 2.2 Froyo OS and carry a price tag around $300 according to company officials told an NY Times reporter in an interview at Mobile World Congress 2011. The tablet will feature other than what was just mentioned a WVGA resolution display, a front facing camera for video calls, a GPS module and for wireless communication 3G and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support all built-in. At this time Huawei isn’t saying what processor, amount of RAM or amount of internal storage (if there is any) for the IDEOS S7 Slim.
